The Arts Marketing Association (AMA) is a membership organisation for those working in the arts, culture and heritage sector.

Overview
The AMA is a membership organisation with approximately 2,000 members working at various levels across the arts, culture and heritage sector, predominantly in marketing, audience development and leadership roles. The organisation was set up in 1993 and is based in Cambridge, United Kingdom and provides professional development and training opportunities for its members and those working in the sector.
Membership of the AMA includes discounts on events, exclusive access to member-only events and resources, a tailored monthly news bulletin, access to job vacancies in the sector and the opportunity to connect and network across the arts, culture and heritage sector.
The AMA also publishes a quarterly magazine, JAM, the Journal of Arts Marketing. This is free to AMA members.

Conference
The AMA holds an annual conference, held in a different UK city every year. Previous conference locations include Edinburgh in 2016, Birmingham in 2015 and Bristol in 2014. AMA conference 2017 will be held in Belfast on 25-27 July.
CultureHive
In April 2013, the AMA launched CultureHive, a free online learning hub sharing examples of good practice in marketing, audience development and fundraising across the cultural sector. The website is a library of free resources, guides, case studies and articles managed by the AMA, funded by Arts Council England. As well as the website, CultureHive programmes include the innovative Digital Marketing Academy, Audience Diversity Academy and Small Scale Development Programme.
